Pricing can seem confusing, and the best measure is to call in and not assume any price includes a particular service without checking with the ofice first. 


 

  The following prices are to give a basic idea of what our Funeral Service 

 costs. Most of our clients can expect to pay an average of $1800 -$2200

for a local burial, when the death occurs at a local hospital, or nursing home, in Maryland, DC, or Virginia.

The above $1800 - $1950 is for the most basic muslim funeral service.

It does not include purchase of a casket or large viewings and visitations.

General burial turnaround time is 24-48 hours.  


                                                                       
                                                                                     Adding extra services will add extra fees.
                                                                Viewing and visitation is $195-$395 depending on service type.
Rush of service fee or after hours fees, holiday, Sunday fee $325.
                                                                                  
                                          For a complete rush of service with a large funeral/visitation with a  casket can range  
                                               about $2200-$3000 depending on what is selected in terms of a funeral service
                                                 and what type of casket is selected. The more items added, the higher the bill. 



 Rental caskets are available for local burials in cemeteries that allow for burials without the casket.  Caskets to purchase range from $455-$1895. Those are available on the Casket Page.

We can also special order a casket of higher cost/quality.


Overseas shipping is about $6800.00, (more or less) depending on the country and circumstances.
This does include airfare for the deceased as well as the shipping container and all necessary documents and procedures to procure the shipment. Turnaround time is about 3 business days on an overseas case.

Simple Islamic Burial ………….… $1645.00 (and up, depending on what is selected) 

Infant Burial ……………………....  $750.00   (unless a different vault is chosen)

Shipping overseas………...........   $5500.00-$7000.00 (Including Airfare for the deceased.)

Approximate cost for shipping Human Remains, or a dead body overseas:

We can usually accommodate a 48-72 hour (business days) in-air departure, going overseas. This is for local deaths, being the simplest of cases. Sometimes "extra work" is required. Extra work requires extra time.  There are cases where the specifics may set us back a day or two. We have no control of when government offices or Embassies will be open or closed, but there are times when we are able to ask Embassies to stay open late, or meet after hours. Please inquire as to the specifics of your case to get the best understanding. 

Pakistan, if the deceased is a Pakistani Citizen, usually the cost is about $3700. (Flying Free JFK)

North Africa: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Etc.:  About $5700 total cost

Middle East : Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Palestine, Qatr, Saudia Arabia: About $6,000

Far East:  Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, India and  About $6,000

Iraq about $6700 (There is a way to bring down the bill by a few hundred dollars. Please ask.)

Iran: about $6300 

Palestine, into Jordan: about $6000, through Israel, Tel Aviv is also possible in some cases to bury in Jerusalem. Please inquire for specific details.

West Africa can unfortunately be one of the more expensive places to ship to, (but not always) depending on individual circumstances. The Gambia, Ghana, Mali, Senegal, Sierra Lione, Nigeria, Benin can be close to $7,000, (including airfare for the deceased) depending, but routing  airfare with multiple stops through different countries other than France can help the cost. Please inquire as to try to keep the costs lower for your specific country.

If you are anywhere in the United States, or Canada, we can probably help you. If you look at the above costs and add in anywhere from about $800-2,500, (for transportation to DC and paperwork from your particular state to process at the Embassy) plus the above cost, we can usually ship your loved one overseas in 3-6 business days from anywhere in USA.

Inexperienced Funeral homes may take as long as 7 to 15 days to ship overseas.  If you are a Funeral Director and need help, shipping overseas to any country, please inquire.
